President & Executive Director, Carlos J. López, reiterating MIGH’s commitment to its mission and the importance of the support the students receive through MIGH from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP). This program is directly helping improve the lives of Hispanics through education. Many parents expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to increase their working skills which allows them to present living examples to their children about the vital link between education and prosperity.
Students from St. Anne’s Catholic School share their experiences and thoughts about the MIGH Basic Computer Technology and Application course. Three couples (husband and wife) have attended this course. Several mothers expressed their gratitude for having received this training and plan to encourage other Hispanic adults to attend the next course in Beaumont. They also requested notification of when the new 2nd level classes are going to be offered so that they could attend.
