A Community Learning Center (CLC) is the facility and location where our educational programs are offered. Our Basic Computer Literacy program for Parents is taught in Spanish and in English.


The core program consists of 100 hours of classroom instruction, typically given over 16 weeks by an MIGH trained instructor. Adult Hispanics and African Americans interested in advancing in life go to a CLC seeking to further their education to later find better paying jobs and to get more involved in their children’s educational lives.

 

MIGH continues to expand our successful partnership with local school systems and community development focused organizations. Our programs primarily serve parents of school-aged children (K-12) throughout the state of Texas. We have had more than 200 MIGH Community Learning Center (CLC) partner locations.
