The Mexican Institute of Greater Houston (MIGH) is the pioneer in Houston and the U.S. offering the most complete and comprehensive 100 hours course “Basic Computer Technology Course” in Spanish. We are a 501 C (3) non-profit organization founded in Texas in 1991. In the Houston area we work in strategic partnership with Independent School Districts (ISDs)and since 2002 with the Houston Independent School District (HISD). Many ISDs and/or schools have embraced our program since the very beginning, having enjoyed the immediate benefits it brings to all involved. It is an immersion program that requires the use of a computer laboratory.
We have been offering our courses at the following school districts in Texas:
Aldine ISD, Anne Catholic School, Beaumont St., Channelview ISD, Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, Garland ISD, Grand Prairie ISD, Houston ISD, Humble ISD, Irving ISD, Katy ISD, Northside ISD, Pasadena ISD, Port Arthur ISD, San Antonio's Bob & Jeanne Billa Learning Center, Spring Branch ISD, St. Mary's Learning Center, Waco ISD. We also partner with organizations like AAMA Houston, Adult Reading Center, Aldine YOUTH, AVANCE Houston, and SER Jobs for Progress. They proudly host an MIGH Community Learning Center. We also hold classes in our office in Houston.
